This study focuses on optimizing the extraction method for shikimate dehydrogenase (SDH) from the leaves of R. sachalinensis by employing different extraction media: a control medium, and media modified with 1% Triton or 20% glycerol. The highest SDH activity was observed with 20% glycerol. However, acetone purification reduced extraction efficiency, necessitating further investigation.
