Spring wheat (Triticum sphaerococcum Perc.) is a narrowly endemic species of hexaploid wheat, preserved in the working collections of world breeding centers and gene banks. Triticum sphaerococcum has valuable qualities and is of interest for breeding new promising varieties with the aim of returning it to culture. The purpose of our research is to identify the potential and variability, the main economically valuable traits of spring sharozern wheat. Features of the formation of grain quality have been revealed.
