For the first time in the world, biological detoxification of elemental - white and red - phosphorus was realized. Cultures of mold fungi were obtained that transform the substance of the first class of hazard white phosphorus into harmless phosphate. In the future, the results of research may become the basis for effective methods of prevention and elimination of pollution by toxic phosphorus compounds
