Abstract (English):
Increasing the volume of sown areas for onion sets in the Russian Federation, allows you to move in the right direction the task of import substitution of foreign planting material. In 2021, studies were conducted to establish indicators of natural loss of onion sets of varieties and hybrids of domestic and foreign selection. The experience was laid at the manufacturing enterprise LLC "Lukamore" in the Moscow region. Russian varieties of onion sets showed a lower percentage natural loss.
