Abstract (English):
Considering the genetic value of fertility in dairy cattle breeds, the study of polymorphism of the SELPex8 gene is very relevant. By DNA testing of first-calf Holstein cows using the SELPex8 gene, it was established that the studied Tatarstan cattle population is genetically biodiverse and is in genetic balance.
