This work describes the study of the possibility of caponing quails with using the drug "Comparol", which contains potassium salts. In total there were 2 groups were formed: experimental and control based on the principle of analogues (n=10). Quails In the experimental group, the drug “Comparol” was injected into the thickness of the testis at a dose of 500 μl. The use of this method had a pronounced effect on quails, consisting in increase in weight gain in the first month after the procedure by 3% compared to control.
