The study is devoted to the study of polymorphism of the COQ9 gene in the population of breeding bulls of the Republic of Tatarstan. DNA testing showed that the studied population is polymorphic, represented by all alleles and genotypes, and is distinguished by genetic biodiversity. The data obtained have theoretical significance and practical novelty and can be used in cattle breeding programs.
