The results of studies on the effectiveness of three experimental biological preparations in comparison with commercial ones when harvesting corn silage in laboratory conditions are presented. It was found that the addition of preparations MF-1, MF-2 provided better lactic acid fermentation, which was reflected in an increase in the concentration of the sum of the three acids to 2.888 and 2.201 abs. % and lactic acid in particular - up to 2.497 and 1.867 abs. %.
