Wheat smut is the most harmful disease of wheat, however There are few varieties resistant to this disease. In this regard, the purpose of the research was evaluate the stability of the created breeding material for spring soft wheat in conditions of Tatarstan on the resistance of firm smut under artificial infection seeds Lines that are weakly susceptible to smut have been identified, the resistance of which is apparently inherited from the varieties: Simbirtsit, Arhat, Tybalt, Lastochka, Ekada 6.
